I bought this guitar about six months ago amazon on, supplied by bass wind and brass instruments, decided it was time to give it a good unbiased review now that the hype had vorbei.Ich won for 10 years, especially hard rock and Metal: Guns N ‘Roses, AC / DC, Metallica, Ozzy, Whitesnake, Van Halen. No heavier than that. This guitar, the style fits perfectly. The pickups, the stock market have come distorted sounds great, not so great, with clean. I bought EMG 81 and 85 and have the 18 volt mod now so can not comment much on stock pickups, the wiring includes two batteries in series. This is very helpful in more and cleaner sound and more headroom, you can check in samples of [. . . ]. I had the guitar as soon as they arrived, and can not comment on that either especially since he set in another country after he moved into my brothers house for a while, I play Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky 0th 09 -0. 46, which I recommend heavier strings for palm muting and chords, and thinner strings for fast solos). This guitar really wears well, and the Grover tuners are awesome. I play this through a Marshall JCM 1959 800 modded Half StackJedenfalls this guitar has a good surface, not excellent, but very nice for the price. I love the feal and playability of the neck and the guitar in general. For the price I can think of no better guitar. It is not a great overall guitar, if you plan to other styles of music to play. If you are into heavier stuff like Nu-Metal is what are your guitar. EMG pickups are active worth considering if you have the extra money, but I repeat, the stock pickups are really great guitars gut.Ich see this, I played over the years and I repeat, its hard to get this quality anywhere else on this price. If you play more classic rock, I recommend an Epiphone Les Paul Standard, Ibanez RG or, the guitars are excellent as well. And you can not find a better guitar in this price class as an Ibanez RG or EpiphonePlus and perhaps an upgrade to Duncan JB and Jazz and JB and 59’s, or both Alnico Pro II Seymour Slash uses on his guitar, all these have less power and the clean tones. This is recommended if you get your distortion from the amplifier. If you have a tube amp its really hard to play a clean sound with active pickups at full volume, as the pickups high performance push to get the preamp distortion. You only need the volume down rollen.Im result, not a great overall sound, its REAL good at what it is meant, the clean sound with 18V EMG mod’s is pretty decent, consider really picky in progress. So do not be discouraged, I think this is actually a great guitar, really beautiful craftsmanship and playability, and it was awesome you are aussieht.Besorgen a suitcase, if you think I can SKB Les Paul Case U $ S129 recommend, much better than The Epi Fall.Good Luck in your quest to Rating: 5.5

This guitar is the first guitar I had, it’s really good for metal and basically everything. It sounds even better with the Zakk Wylde pickups in it. Rating: 5.5

This guitar is great. I own 7 guitars now, and this is the best sounding guitar out of all of them. Of course, I end up buying the EMG 81/85 active pickups and they sound so much better. They cost [. . . ] Bucks may be pain, and an installation in itself, but it is quite worthwhile. Now keep in mindh, does that mean these pickups are horrible. It all depends on what your users prefer, because the pickups that come with it passive pickups (which are not, a 9V battery), costs and these pickups also [. . . ] Bucks, what the active cost. If you decide to buy this guitar and the swap pickups for EMG Pickups use, you think you have to go, turn the pots, and new wiring. So it’s not a plug and play kind of replacement. Just a heads-up. Thee pickups are wired to be replaced, but not with active pickups, active pickups there is wiring for the battery needed, and to do different pots as passive pickups. A guitar shop is pretty cheap, have installed them. But as I said, the stock passive pickups sounded phänomenal.Dies is a very nice, very solid guitar. Has a lot of weight, and its much thicker than a Fender, by about threefold. The action is decent, although the best action I’ve ever found is on a dean. Now this guitar has a very nice warm sound (even with the stock pickups) and a beautiful warm, clear sound. Tuned it is below the chunkier sounding guitar I own. And the people to answer questions on the color of the guitar, it is actually a yellowish color of ebony. This is a deliberately aged ebony they look just like Zakk Wylde’s guitar looking for, because throug HThe years Zakk’s guitars have aged, and his white color Ebony has yellowish. Gibson Custom Zakk Wylde knows is, on the other side as ebony, as Zakk’s did when he first got it. I even love the color of this guitar, and they have a very good job of the old colors. It does not look dirty at all, or yellow. It looks exactly as intended, and honestly I like the color better on this than the pure white on the Gibson (which I have seen both). The neck is a set neck, so it is not some junky bolt on neck. So after a series of neck, you get a better continuity, better sound and better feel. The neck is much thicker than a dean or a fender or Washburn, etc. It has a great feel to it, but just takes some getting used to if youre used to a thinner neck. Even the fretboard 22 frets, jumbo frets and they are not, just in case you were wondering. I have used all kinds of strings on the guitar, 42-70 heaviest for the string. All sets have sounded great. I also have my strings in string backwards as recommended Zakk, not because I am a stubborn Zakk Wylde fan, but because I thought I would give it a shot, and have, as it does for about 6 years. It really is help from the breach. I would also recommend a Straplock system for this guitar, because it really is a heavy guitar, and the last thing you want to do is to keep it from slipping out of your guitar and get off onto the floor damaged. Also, make sure to buy a beautiful Les Paul hardshell case for it, whether it from Epiphone, or Gator, etc. werdenAlles in everything from the 7 guitars I have, yes, of course, each has its own ups and downs, but in general this is the guitar that I fit to go home and get every day, and this is the guitar, the me and my style the most because of their looks, its heat and sound, its playability, its sound and its feel. I definitely plan to buy have a more in the near future, only with different strings and tuning set. If I have missed something, or if you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Rating: 5.5

I bought this guitar for over a year ago Friend of musicians and was very satisfied. This allows burning hot guitar leads and has a small effect, and a fast neck. The only difference between the Epi-model and the Gibson version is inexpensive and passive pickups. I rate this model four stars only because it is not standard with 81/85 pickups in other guitars that are almost the same cost are found. Other than that, I am very pleased with the workmanship and playability of this awesome ax. Rating: 5.4
