I ordered this speaker cable because it is a fraction of the cost can be found elsewhere was. It is extrememly high quality and the electrician install I had was for surround sound surprised to hear what I paid for it. The isolation is very hard and is probably good for the shield. However, it is very difficult to strip, to connect it to your components. I recommend this wire. The best way I found, strip it carefully pinch the sides with wire stripper / pliers. Be careful not to damage the insulation on the wires inside, but once you have started you can only rip off the outer insulation. Rating: 5.4
